Beijing's brand the most valuable among Chinese cities

The country's first report on city brand value was released yesterday, with Beijing named as China's most valued city brand Xinhua reported (in Chinese). The report was released by the 2007 China City Forum, an annual property industry gathering. The report assessed 287 cities around the country using criteria like quality of housing, employment, education, business and tourism. The rest of the list was: Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Qingdao, Chengdu, Ningbo and Suzhou.
