Air China Cargo now has a new service from Shanghai to Paris, via Beijing and Copenhagen. It flies every Thursday and Saturday, according to the company, which is an all-cargo subsidiary of national flag carrier Air China.
The company reports the global air cargo industry has rebounded since the world’s economic downturn gradually bottomed out.
Data from the Civil Aviation Administration of China showed the nation’s international air freight transport surged 110.5% year on year in January.
Trading Markets reports that besides Paris, the ACC service network in Europe has so far expanded to Frankfurt, Copenhagen, Vienna, Milan, Manchester, with 24 flights operating every week.
