The State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT) has announced the Beijing Cultural and Creative Industry Cluster Area, the animation film/TV industrial zone in the Xiamen Software Park, and the animation industrial park in the Shenyang High-tech Industrial Development Zone have recently been designated by SARFT as the fourth batch of national animation industry bases.
SARFT said to further promote the scientific development of China’s animation industry, it decided to build the fourth batch of national animation industry bases in the Beijing Cultural and Creative Industry Cluster Area, the animation film/TV industrial zone in the Xiamen Software Park, and the animation industrial park in the Shenyang High-tech Industrial Development Zone.
It also decided to set up the third batch of national animation teaching and research bases in the Professional Training Academy of Radio, Film and TV and the Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts.
China now has 18 national animation industry bases and 8 national animation teaching and research bases.
