Another explosion hit China’s coast at a chemical plant in Dongying, Shandong province Monday night, Reuters reported, citing state media. A single “loud” blast occurred at the plant in Dongying shortly before midnight, state radio said on its official Weibo microblog, showing pictures of the explosion in what appeared to be a remote industrial area. Meanwhile, South China Morning Post cited the Tianjin Daily as reporting that another fire had broken out on Monday in Tianjin when rain came into contact with magnesium and sodium at the site of chemical blasts that have officially killed 158 people so far.
