Another link in the new alliance

From January 2002, German line Senator will take slots on two Cosco services, both serving the trans-Pacific trade. On one slot, Senator will be able to serve Xiamen, Ningbo, Shanghai, Kobe, Nagoya, Long Beach, Oakland, Yokohama and Xiamen. On the other, Senator will serve Xingang, Dalian, Qingdao, Pusan, Vancouver, Long Beach, Tokyo and Xingang.

In return, and as from mid-December, Senator, as part of the United Alliance, will have slots on the K Line PNW service. Senator’s parent company, South Korea’s Hanjin Shipping will also have slots on this service. This means Senator will also be able to call at Hong Kong, Kobe, Nagoya, Tokyo, Tacoma, Vancouver, Portland, Tokyo, Nagoya, Kobe and Hong Kong.
