The Australian Interactive Media Industry Association (AIMIA) claims it’s engineered a new channel into the Chinese economy for Australian digital companies as long as they’re AIMIA members.Member companies will be guaranteed access to a new $330 million Digital Media Park, currently being built in Shenyang, China.
They will be able to establish a Chinese government-approved base to develop their digital business in China. Development of the new park is being overseen by the International Federation of Multimedia Associations.
According to the AIMIA the park is due to be completed in 2011 to leverage the business connections established between Australia and China at the Shanghai World Expo 2010.
