Baidu stocks fall as second executive resigns

Chinese internet search giant Baidu have been hit by the resignation of its chief technology officer, the second departure of a senior member of staff in 2010, ABC news reported.  Baidu said that CTO Yinan Li had decided to leave the company for personal reasons, the same reason the company gave for the departure of chief operating officer Peng Ye earlier this month. Stocks in China’s leading search engine provider fell Tuesday, with analysts blaming investor concerns about the high turnover of staff at the company – both Li and Ye were only appointed in 2008. "If you don’t have stable management, then you will have a problem with development, with progressing," said Pali Research analyst Tian Hou. State media reported that Li would take on the position of chief operating officer at Beijing Wuxian Xunqi, a subsidiary of China Mobile.
