Beijing Capital International Airport and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol have signed a memorandum of understanding to form a partnership for friendly cooperation.
According to the MOU, the parties will enhance communication and cooperation in airport operation and management, especially the establishment of airline hubs and passenger services.
As Schiphol has a track record of being at the cutting edge of passenger handling, there probably will be benefits on both sides arising from such an agreement.
Global Times reports that the partnership is expected to boost research and the implementation of new technology and new ideas, thus helping promote the development of the global airport industry.
