C919 will sell abroad

Mark Howes, president of Honeywell Aerospace Asia Pacific, believed that the C919, the Chinese proprietary jumbo (or quite large) aircraft, can go to such areas as North America, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
He said that COMAC had a strong ability in project management and promotion. COMAC is the operator of the project.
He is speaking from a slightly biased point of view in that Honeywell has contributed a lot in the fields of navigation, flight control and engine parts to the production of the ARJ21, a China-developed regional aircraft. And it is working with COMAC in other areas.

Earlier this year, Mark Howes said that Honeywell’s six aircraft systems would possibly take part in the production of China-made jumbo (or quite large) aircraft. The six systems include the APU (Auxiliary Power Unit), environmental control, aircraft wheel and braking system, avionics, flight control and lighting.

Trading Markets said that Honeywell systems will also be installed on 36 A320s and 71 Boeing 737s owned by China Southern Airlines.
