CAL to offer Taoyuan-Wuhan flights

Taiwan-based China Airlines (CAL) will launch a new flight connecting the mainland and Taiwan on January 26.

The flight from Taoyuan to Wuhan will become the 17th mainland destination served by CAL since the opening of flights across the Taiwan Strait. CAL will operate the service twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays using Airbus 330-300 aircraft.

Asia Travel Tips reports CAL is offering special discounts for passengers purchasing Taoyuan-Wuhan tickets before the end of February 2011.

The company is working with travel agencies to provide special tour packages exploring the Wuhan region, including an eight-day Three Gorges of the Yangtze River package and a special tour of ancient civilizations in the Hunan, Hubei and Zhangjiajie area.
