Ten rockets to be launched in 2002

China plans to launch about 10 rockets, satellites and spacecraft in 2002, Xinhua news agency reported. One of the missions will launch a weather forecasting satellite in the first half of this year. The satellite will provide data for long-range weather forecasting, including monitoring conditions for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
