China’s monthly box office revenue in February beat out the US for the first time thanks to Spring Festival Holiday rush that brought in US$650 million, The Hollywood Reporter reported, citing data from research firm Entgroup. That beat US film revenue for the month by about US$10 million, with the Chow Yun-Fat vehicle The Man From Macau II raking in US$104 million and historical action flick Dragon Blade (Jackie Chan, John Cusack, Adrien Brody) making US$95 million.
