Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio, will offer a MBA to students in China beginning next spring.
The university is teaming up with Sichuan University. This is Sichuan University’s first MBA-focused collaboration with an American university although the Chinese MBA program is Franklin’s fourth international agreement.
Chinese students enrolled in the program will take classes on Sichuan University’s campus in Chengdu, capital of Sichuan Province. Classes will be taught in English by a combination of faculty members from Franklin and Sichuan universities.
Columbus Business First reported that Franklin officials said the collaboration will help strengthen economic ties between China and the United States. Possibly. Perhaps. But in a minor way.
Franklin also participates in international programs with the Wroclaw School of Banking in Poland, the University St. Kliment Ohridski-Bitola in Macedonia and Mangalore University in India. An eclectic and esoteric group of educational establishments.
