London, the capital of the United Kingdom, has seen a 1,500% rise in property investments from Chinese investors since 2010 and the rate is predicated to continue to rise over the coming years, Caijing reported. Research by Jones Lang LaSalle, a Chicago-based real estate service and investment company, showed that investment grew from US$88 million in 2010 to over US$1.64 billion at the end of the third quarter of 2013. Greenland Holding Group, a Shanghai-based State-owned developer, is the latest company to target London, announcing on January 7 plans to invest US$1.97 billion in two projects.
