[photopress:Logistics_supply_chain.jpg,full,alignright]China’s revenue from the logistics industry totaled US$10.68 trillion in 2007, up 26.2% from 2006, according to the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP).
The weight in GDP went up 0.2 percentage points to reach 6.9% over 2006.
Total logistics fee went up 18.2% in 2007 to reach $646.95 billion with transportation fees standing at $351.97 billion, up 17.6% year-on-year, and accounting for 54.4% of the total logistics fees.
Which does not read easily but the main point is quite clear:
In China in logistics the direction is up. And up at a rate that leaves most other countries well behind in the race.
