China to become DHL's no 1

DHL, an arm of Deutsche Post AG, said its revenues in China would grow 50% this year, putting China on course to become its largest Asian market by the end of this year or early next, state media reported, citing Ross Allen, a senior vice president in Asia. Rival FedEx has said that China's US$1.5bn market, of which DHL has a 40% share, will someday be the world's top cargo market. DHL's Asia revenue registered US$3.4bn last year, versus US$24bn worldwide. Country breakdowns were not available.
