China is in discussions with the US and North Korea in an attempt to restart talks about terminating Pyongyang’s nuclear program, Reuters reported. Vice Foreign Minister Wu Dawei said that China has used "all kinds of means" to bring the two sides back to the negotiating table and that discussions were ongoing. China is the host of the six-party talks, which also include South Korea, Japan and Russia. Last weekend, Christopher Hill, America’s chief negotiator on the issue, made a surprise trip to Beijing where he was reportedly meeting North Korea’s envoy Kim Kye-gwan. Kim, however, didn’t show up. The US is asking North Korea to disclose its nuclear programs. Wu said the point of contention in the discussions was what constitutes "complete and accurate" disclosure of these programs.
