Feibao fighter bomber
Feibao or flying leopard, recently appeared at the Zhuhai Air Show for an aerobatic performance.
Feibao was developed and produced by the China Aviation Industry Corporation’s First Aircraft Institute. Tang Changhong, chief designer of Feibao, said the successful development of the new Feibao signifies that China now owns the sole intellectual property rights to a main fighter-bomber, equipped with precise three-dimensional combat capabilities in the air.
Tang said the development of the new Feibao pioneers digital aircraft design, enabling China’s aircraft design technology to be completely in line with advanced global standards.
