[photopress:Ryder.jpg,full,alignright]Modern Logistics News, a logistics periodical published by the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing has named Ryder System the ‘Most Admired Logistics Company’ in China. The award was presented to Ryder during the International Logistics and Supply Chain Development Forum in Suzhou.
Zhang Wei, editor in chief of Modern Logistics News, stated that Ryder’s receipt of the award is based on ‘the outstanding supply chain management and customer service provided by Ryder globally, and especially for its great contribution to the development of automotive logistics expertise in China.’
The China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, China’s only official large-scale comprehensive logistics organization, was established with approval of the State Council and is directly administered by the State Economic and Trade Commission (SETC).
