The weekly direct service between China and the United States will be operated with 5×8,100 TEU (where a TEU is a container ) vessels.
One of these will be CMA CGM, two will come from MAERSK, and two from MSC. Those five container ships working together allow a weekly direct service between China and United States.
CMA CGM said the service port rotation includes: Dalian — Xingang — Shanghai WGQ — Shanghai Yangshan — Ningbo — Los Angeles — Oakland — Dalian.
It will provide customers with extensive port coverage in China (Dalian, Xingang, Shanghai WGQ, Shanghai Yangshan, Ningbo) and weekly direct calls to Californian ports: Los Angeles and Oakland, gateway to the US inland market.
Hong Kong, Yantian, Kaohsiung, Qingdao are already included in other loops operated by the partners.
