Cotton news service joint venture deal signed

Global cotton financial news provider Globecot and CNCotton.com, the information service of the China National Cotton Information Center (CNCIC), agreed to set up a joint venture agreement to provide three new services to China's cotton industry and to industry participants globally. Globecot Chairman Ed Jernigan and Madame Lei Xiangju, president of the China National Cotton Reserve Corporation (parent company of the CNCIC) signed the agreement at the China Cotton Association's 2004 China Cotton Industry Development Summit Forum.
