Disney ponders China

The Walt Disney Co is planning a range of projects in China, including a theme park, incoming Chief Executive Robert Iger told Time magazine. Disney is set to open its US$3.6bn Hong Kong Disneyland Sept 12, the company's second resort in Asia besides Japan. Disney forecasts about 10m people will visit its Hong Kong park annually and the company is expected to monitor the traffic carefully as it launches new projects in China.
