Doubletree by Hilton opens in Qingdao

Doubletree Hilton in QingdaoThe Doubletree by Hilton Qingdao/Chengyang has been opened in the Shandong Province of China.

This opening brings the number of Doubletree by Hilton hotels in China to three.

This newly redeveloped 320-room (including 24 suites) hotel (formerly the Sunkin Huarun Hotel) is a MICE hotel with extensive meetings and events facilities designed to cater for up to 750 people. It is owned by the Qingdao Sunkin Group.

The hotel is in the Chengyang District, nine kilometers from Qingdao International Airport. The hotel is convenient for attractions such as the Tsingtao International Beer Museum, local hot springs and an Olympic Sailing Center.

The 35-square-meter suites feature high-speed internet access, a large LCD television and electric-powered shower curtains, which are probably the daftest labor-saving idea of the year. Guests staying on the Executive Floor get access to the executive lounge.

Hotel Online reports that there is a dedicated conference space situated on the second floor including a spectacular Grand Ballroom, multi-function hall and meeting rooms of various sizes. Which makes it a true MICE — meetings, incentives, confernences, exhibitions — hotel.
