Electricite de France, the biggest electricity company in Europe, is to open an Asia- Pacific headquarters in Beijing as part of its plans to expand in the Chinese market, Bloomberg reported.
The company is already the largest foreign investor in the Chinese power industry, with stakes in projects in Shandong and Guangxi. It was also advisor on two projects in Guangdong – Daya Bay nuclear power station and the Conghua hydroelectricity project.
