China reported its first human cases of bird flu Wednesday, including at least one fatality. The H5N1 virus had killed a poultry worker and infected a 9-year-old boy who has since recovered. As authorities raced to vaccinate the country's 14 billion domestic fowl to contain the outbreak. The boy's 12-year-old sister died.
