Nippon Suisan Kaisha plans to invest as much as 3 billion yen (US$268 million) to build its largest ever food processing plant in Qingdao, Shandong province, Japan's Nihon Keizai Shimbun reported. The business daily said that a newly established local joint venture, Shandong Sanfod Chuwang Foodstuffs Co, would run the plant.
