The Executive Education program will focus on how customer needs, environmental concerns, economic issues, advanced technologies, and key strategies drive innovation throughout the agribusiness industry. (If you do the course you should be able to write sentences just as convoluted as that.)
The Agribusiness Seminar is Asian but will welcome participants from a range of organizations around the world, including agricultural producers and processors, branded food companies, major grocery chains, governments, and financial firms serving the agribusiness industry.
Professor David Bell, faculty chair of the Harvard Business School program, and seen here, said, ‘The time is right for us to convene this seminar, given the evolution of China as both a leading provider and fast-growing consumer in the global food system.
‘The issues facing the global food system that have come to the forefront in recent months — rising commodity prices, food safety, and sustainable production, for example — are acutely important in China.
‘Determining innovative ways to respond to these issues is vital to ensure that safe, affordable food is available to consumers worldwide.’
Now in its 49th year, the Agribusiness Seminar;’s new new program in China is designed to focus on today’s increasingly changing world markets and will draw on global content, case studies with diverse and international perspectives, and classroom discussions on the key trends and innovations in agribusiness.
