China's forestry authority announced a nationwide crackdown on illegal logging by businesses, timber processing operations and local governments, state media reported. The State Forestry Administration also said Asia Pulp & Paper had been involved in illegal logging in Southwest China's Yunnan Province, confirming charges first leveled by Greenpeace in November, state media reported citing an unnamed SFA official.
