Lamborghini sales picking up in China

China is now Lamborghini’s second largest market although only about 200 cars are expected to be sold in the country this year. In the United States sales will probably reach 260.
The original Lamborghini was built because a Ferrari car owner was fed up with the servicing and the quality of the ride of his car and decided to build something better. Eventually the company went bust and this is about its fourth reincarnation.
The automaker unveiled its new model, the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento concept car at the Paris Auto Show recently. It weighs only 99 kilograms and is powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine, delivering 562 bhp.
Gasgoo reports the Sesto Elemento needs only 2.5 seconds to go from zero to 100 kilometers per hour. The amount of petroleum spent to do that was not disclosed.
