Lufthansa Airlines launched a service of five weekly flights from Munich to Guangzhou, Guangdong province. Guangzhou is the German airline's fourth destination in China, following Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
The Munich-Guangzhou route will have a stopover in Shanghai and will take about 10 hours. Lufthansa said that it will add two more flights on the route in April so as to offer daily service.
