Microblogging startup Plurk, the Asian competitor of Twitter, says Microsoft’s recently launched microblogging service Juku stole more than 80% of its software code, CNET News reported."Imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery, but blatant theft of code, design and UI [user interface] elements is not cool," Plurk said on its company blog. A Microsoft representative in the US said the company is looking into the matter. Microsoft launched Juku over the last two weeks in China but said it has no plans to introduce it in other markets. Screenshots posted on the Plurk site comparing the two interfaces reveal significant similarities.
