MoH: 4 dead after H1N1 inoculation

The Ministry of Health (MoH) reported yesterday that four people died after being inoculated with the H1N1 flu vaccine made in China, UPI reported. However, Liang Wannian, director of the ministry’s emergency response office, said three of the deaths were not caused by the inoculation, and the fourth is still under investigation. Liang said that out of 26.18 million people who received the inoculation, 2,867 are suspected of experiencing adverse reactions, usually fever or swelling. State media reported that as of Sunday, nearly 80% of the more than 90,000 people in China infected by the swine flu have already recovered. The current death toll in China stands at 178.
