N Korea's No. 2 meets Chinese leaders

Kim Jong-Il's second in command, Kim Yong-Nam, led a North Korean delegation on a three-day mission to Beijing, holding talks with his Chinese counterpart, National People's Congress Chairman Wu Bangguo, who reiterated China's interest in seeing the stalled six-party nuclear negotiations restarted. Wu acknowledged the talks had encountered problems but said if all parties were patient, showed sincerity and exercised flexibility, the current impasse could be overcome. Kim was scheduled to meet President Hu Jintao and Premier Wen Jiabao before heading home.
