DHL Worldwide Express and Dragonair of Hong Kong have introduced an express delivery service between
Shanghai and Hong Kong, Xinhua reported. The new service adds Shanghai to DHL's 13-
city Asian Air Network, whereby packages are sent overnight. The delivery time between the
two cities has been reduced to 24 hours.
DHL entered the Chinese market in 1980. The
joint venture it set up in 1986, DIlL-Sinotrans Worldwide Express, is the largest express
network in China, with 39 branches and offering services in 3 1 8 cities.
