Nigeria to tap China in oil exploration

Nigeria is asking China, the world's fastest growing major energy importer, to participate in its oil and natural-gas exploration, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing Edmund Daukoru, a top Nigerian oil official who is in Beijing for Nigeria's oil and gas exploration roadshow. If China takes part in Nigeria's oil exploration and production, it could shake up the dominance of major international oil firms in that country.
