China is prepared to resolve its border disputes with India, Bloomberg reported, citing a Monday statement by Foreign Minister Wang Yi in New Delhi. “Through years of negotiation, we have come to an agreement on the basics of a boundary agreement, and we are prepared to reach a final settlement,” Wang told reporters, following a two-day visit which included a three-hour meeting with Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj on Sunday. The two countries are seeking to prevent their territorial disagreements from affecting economic ties. China is India’s largest trading partner.
