Pipeline for southern China

Sinopec is to start
building aYn3.5bn refined oil pipeline in September that will transport petrol and diesel
from Maoming in Guang-dong province to Kunming in Yunnan province. reported China
Securities Journal.
The I .690km pipeline is expected to be in use in the first
quarter of 2005. It is being built to meet growing demand for refined oil products in the
southwestern provinces of Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan.
