Qatar firm signs China logistics deal

Shanghai-based Kerry Talke Chemical Logistics has signed a logistics service agreement with Qatar‘s Qapco and Qatofin to provide handling and warehousing in China.
Qapco and Qatofin general manager Dr. Mohamed Yousef al-Mulla said they already have four representative offices in China: Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou, plus one in Hong Kong. The opening of the logistics facility would further strengthen Qatar’s presence in the rapidly growing Chinese market for petrochemical products.
Talke Logistic Services, part of The Talke group established in 1947, began by transporting and storing chemical products before becoming an integrated service partner for contract logistics solutions.
Gulf Times reports that Qapco and Qatofin products are exported to over 4,500 customers in about 85 countries.
