Indeed, it is certain this is an unique situation. Antai College of Economics and Management ACEM is 90 years old, was indeed the Railways Management Department and is now part of Jiao Tong University Shanghai and offers MBAs in both English and Chinese
Antai College of Economics and Management (ACEM) is nearly a centry old having been founded in 1918 at the Railway Management Department.
It was integrated with Jiao Tong University Shanghai and offers MBAs in Chinese as well as an English-language international MBA (IMBA) and another in partnership with the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business.
The International MBA at ACEM is a two-year program, six months of which are reserved for a dissertation and the remainder spent in core study.
Applicants need at least three years’ full-time work experience so think of it as a more intensive EMBA course.
Core subjects include e-commerce, macroeconomics and public policy, corporate finance and management literature. Classes are taught seminar-style.
It is worth knowing that in the Financial Times global rankings ACEM comes 41st which is an excellent result.
Alumni salaries increase by an average of 177% on their preMBA pay in two years which makes this an attractive investment.
