[photopress:sheratonChangsha.jpg,full,alignright]Sheraton Changsha Hotel has opened in the capital of Hunan province and is seen as Changsha city’s first international upscale hotel.
Qian Jin, Senior Vice President, Operations for Starwood Hotels & Resorts in Greater China and Taiwan, said, ‘Ranked among the top 20 most attractive foreign investment regions in China, Changsha is definitely an attractive place to establish an upscale hotel to cater to the needs of domestic and international travellers.’
The Sheraton Changsha is in the downtown CBD district and offers 385 guest rooms and suites. These rooms all have large windows with unobstructed views of the city, a 32-inch wall mounted LCD TV as well as high speed Internet access.
The restaurants include a 24-hour Hunan Food Street, an Italian restaurant as well as a Cantonese restaurant with 25 private dining rooms.
For the MICE market the Sheraton Changsha also offers nine multi-function meeting rooms, a pillarless ballroom (vitally important for big meetings that it is pillarless) and a business center.
