Yabuli Ski Resort
Home to Club Med’s first resort in China, Yabuli is the country’s largest ski domain with roughly 30 kilometers of ski slopes. Brought up to the highest international standards of safety and quality, the park hosted the 2009 World University Games and was listed as one of the top five ski resorts in Asia by CNN.
Secret Garden
Located in Sitaizu, Chongli county, just 230 km outside of Beijing, Secret Garden will be modeled after Canada’s famous ski town, Whistler. Set to open in 2012, the resort will feature 2,700 hotel rooms, conference centers, sporting academies and a golf course for the summer months to compliment its 250 hectares of skiing.
Biedahu Ski Resort
Biedahu in Jilin province was one of the first villages that brought international skiing standards to China. In 2007, the resort hosted the Asian World Games. While its tallest ski peak stands at 830 meters, it offers challenging trials for advanced skiers and breathtaking sights.
Huaibei Ski Resort
Designed and built with the Great Wall as part of its scenic view, the Huaibei Ski Resort is only 70 km away from Beijing. It offers a variety of winter activities beyond skiing and snowboarding, such as snowmobile excursions, archery on the snow and horse-drawn sledding.
Nanshan Ski Village
A two-hour drive from Beijing, Nanshan features 21 well-groomed ski slopes that challenge skiers of all levels. The village is complete with quadruple and double chairlifts, as well as nine T-bars. Nanshan also has a snowboard park with a halfpipe, four kickers and six rails.
