Beijing sent State Councillor Tang Jiaxuan as a special representative of President Hu Jintao on an official goodwill visit to the DPRK Tuesday morning. The visit comes less than two weeks ahead of the expected resumption of the six-party talks on the North Korea nuclear issue. After a secret meeting between DPRK and US diplomats in Beijing, the DPRK announced Saturday that it agreed to hold the fourth round of the multi-lateral talks with the US, China, the Republic of Korea, Russia, and Japan.
