The Park Hyatt Shanghai occupies floors 79 to 93 of the Shanghai World Financial Center which rises to 492 meters. If you were vulgar you could say it is shaped like a giant bottle opener. Business Week reminds us that the International Commerce Center in Kowloon, Hong Kong is coming in with a challenge. Upon completion by 2010, that skyscraper will become Hong Kong’s tallest building and will have the third highest roof in the world. It will also have a Ritz-Carlton hotel which will be even higher than the Park Hyatt, Shanghai. Be soon.
