It looks down on the Jin Mao Tower, and is about 40 meters taller than the Empire State Building. The Park Hyatt Shanghai occupies floors 79 to 93 of the Shanghai World Financial Center which rises to 492 meters. If you were vulgar you could say it is shaped like a giant bottle opener. Standard rates start at around US$320 per night, and go up to nearly US$13,000 for the stunning Chairman Suite.
Situated on a bend in the Huangpu river, every room at the Park Hyatt has floor to ceiling glass windows. You can look out on the Jin Mao tower across the road, which is the second tallest building in mainland China, and the Oriental Pearl TV tower.

It will also have a Ritz-Carlton hotel which will be even higher than the Park Hyatt, Shanghai. Be soon.
