[photopress:Tianjinport.jpg,full,alignright]The cargo handling capacity of Tianjin Port had reached a total of 200 million tons by October 7 which meant that it was 24 days faster than last year in reaching that point. Now Tianjin Port is expected to handle 250 million tons of cargo in this calendar year which will make it one of the world’s largest ports.
Tianjin Port handles pretty much anything but with steel and grain as key sources. It is the largest general port in Bohai Gulf region and China’s nearest port for connection to Asia and continental Europe, Currenly it has trade connections with more than 400 ports in over 180 countries and the number of scheduled sailings exceeds 400 every month.
