A train collision early Monday morning has killed at least three people and left more than 60 people injured in Hunan province, AFP reported. The accident occurred at 2:34 a.m. at the railway station in Chenzhou city when two passenger trains headed for Shenzhen collided on the tracks, derailing seven carriages. One of the trains also ran into two neighboring houses. The cause of the train crash has yet to be determined. Railway Minister Liu Zhijun has been dispatched to Chenzhou to oversee rescue work. Thousands of passengers were stranded at the station by the accident, though services on one side of the line had reportedly resumed by late Monday morning.
