Floods in Fujian province, northeast China, have killed 80 paramilitary police officers after their barracks were swept away, AP reported. Typhoon Longwang ("Dragon King") reached the province on Sunday night and 142 police officers were swept away, but 57 were rescued. 80 bodies have since been recovered but 5 are still missing. The typhoon destroyed more than 5,000 homes and wiped out 31,000 acres of crops.
