UK officials expect 'substantial' business deals from Li Keqiang visit

Vice Premier Li Keqiang has arrived in the UK for a four-day visit following trips to Germany and Spain, the Wall Street Journal reported. Li visited Edinburgh first, where he is to hold talks with Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond. Salmond said ahead of Li’s arrival that he expected "very substantial" business deals out of the trip; Li is traveling with a 150-strong business and political delegation. Li’s visit follows the visit of UK Prime Minister David Cameron to China in November. Despite traveling with the largest-ever UK business delegation, Cameron’s visit was seen as a lukewarm success for British businesses.
