Vehicle exports soar

Vehicle exports grew 232 per cent year-onyear to reach US$239m in the first eight months of this year, according to Customs data. The two biggest categories were special- purpose vehicles (US$84m) and trucks (US$76m). China's auto parts exports over the same period were valued at US$2.74bn.
