The World Trade Organization Committee on Regional Trade Agreements will review the Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (CEPA) at its meeting in Geneva, Switzerland Thursday and Friday, state media reported. To ensure they comply with WTO rules, all free trade agreements must be reviewed by WTO members. CEPA is the first such agreement under the WTO framework between Hong Kong and China, which are separate members of the WTO.
