1Q FDI up

China's National Bureau of Statistics reported China's first quarter foreign direct investment rose 9.5% year on year, to US$13.4bn, versus 7.49% growth a year ago, fueling Beijing's concerns that capital inflows and speculation could overheat the economy, despite its measures to counteract those effects.
